While standing in the checkout line, a lady asked my son, “Are you ready for Easter? What is the Easter Bunny going to bring you?” He just stared at her—completely blank. I could tell he was genuinely confused, thinking, “The Easter Bunny is supposed to bring me something?” It struck me —have we made so much room for the Easter Bunny that we’ve crowded out the cross?
